Why Do You Occupy? Interviews From Occupy Boston

On Friday, I headed down to the first night of Occupy Boston, a localized offshoot of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Speaking to the people there, I got angry. These people knew why they were there. They knew why they were fighting. And the way the media portrays them as hippie clowns by focusing on a handful of the eccentric, is woefully inaccurate and downright manipulative.

So, I talked to the protesters. I asked them why they were there. This video is a small sampling of their answers.

I was actually thinking of subtitling the video “Fuck You, Bill O’Reilly“, but decided against it.
